Here are the Details!

The Family History Fair is almost here.  If you haven't registered, please take a moment to do so by clicking here.  Remember you will be sent a confirmation email with a link to confirm your registration.  Registration is NOT necessary, but will give us an idea of how many will be attending.  

A registration table will be in the foyer of the north entrance. There you can pick up a class schedule and building map.  Due bandwidth limitations please reserve wifi access for the presenters by turning off your wifi as you arrive.  Also please put devices on quiet mode.

Classes are on a first come basis.  Links to a class schedule and class description are in the tabs section above.  Choose which classes you would like to attend.  

When planning which classes to take schedule in a lunch break.  Bring a sack lunch and we will have tables and chairs set up in the eating area.

The Family History Center is located in the building south of the church.  The classes scheduled for that building will be in their computer class room.  If you plan on attend one of these classes please register with familysearch.org and bring (or remember) your username and password.

In addition, there are several computer available located in the center's main room. You can search some of their premium sites, explore family tree and get individualized help from the family history consultants.

Due to a scheduling conflict the Youth Fireside, Power of Youth, Youth Leading Youth, Indexing for Youth and FamilySearch for the Youth are canceled and will be rescheduled at a later date.  There have been some additional minor changes to the schedule also.

Family History Fun

Our Family History Fair is Saturday, October 18th at the LDS Meeting House at 121 North Canyon Road, Nampa, Idaho.  Attendance is FREE.  Click here to register.  After you enter in your information, you will be sent a confirmation email.  Just click the link in the email to confirm. Don't forget to complete your registration, the information will not be saved if it is not confirmed within 24 hours.  If you have registered but not confirmed please register again. Thank you!

Our event will begin a 9:00 am with a devotional.  Classes will be on a first come basis.  Classes are designed for ages 12 and up, with a few classes especially for the youth.  Classes will be a mixture of live and recorded instruction.  The recorded classes are from the RootsTech 2014 conference held in Salt Lake City earlier this year. There will also be a youth fireside from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p..m.  Click to see a full schedule.

Take a break.  There is not a scheduled lunch break.

• Bring a sack lunch and we will have an area set up in the gym for whenever you get hungry.  
• There will be information booths in the gym as well.
• Go next door to the Family History Center for some individualized help.
• Try out what you've learned at the Family History Center computer area.
